ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Lincoln's second Enrollment information night will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm in the Lincoln Cafeteria. Kindergarten Enrollment dates are March 29th - April 2nd. Click here for more enrollment information.

MSP TESTING DATES
The test is now the MSP (Measurements of Student Progress) and will be held from May 12-28 for grades 3-5. The MSP tests are shorter than the WASL and online versions will be phased in over the next few years. Here is a link for answers to Frequently Asked Questions about State Testing.

GARDEN NEWS
The 2010 garden season has begun! Click here for upcoming garden activities like garden work parties, garden rep meetings and more!

WALK & WHEEL PROGRAM
Lincoln's Walk & Wheel program encourages students and families to walk, ride bikes, carpool and use Intercity Transit on late start Wednesdays (May 5 & June 2). For more information visit our Walk & Wheel web page.

CULMINATING EVENT DATE CHANGE
We just found out that Greg Mortensen, the AUTHOR OF THREE CUPS OF TEA, is going to speak at St Martins College on May 13. So our culminating event for our all-school theme is rescheduled for Wednesday, May 12.

MIDDLE SCHOOL INFORMATION
You can find dates for parent nights, student school visits and more in the March Opus. There is info for Washington Middle School, Jefferson Middle School, Reeves Middle School, ALKI, MAP and Olympia Waldorf school. The February Opus has info on NOVA school and Olympia Regional Learning Academy (ORLA) as well.

  • Lincoln Assembly Songs CD: The Lincoln Parent Band's first ever CD recording is available in the school office as well as at the Eastside Co-op and Wind Up Here for a $10 donation. It contains 13 popular assembly songs. All profits go to Lincoln Options.

The Options Program at Lincoln School offers an alternative approach to elementary education that is a choice for students in the Lincoln Service Area and from the Olympia School District. The program provides a unified model for grades K-5 that respects how children learn and views learning as a collaborative effort of staff, students and parents.
