Hello, Lincoln families and friends!
We’re excited to share some big news: we’re reimagining the Winter Market!
Since 2010, the Winter Market has brought Lincoln families and the wider Olympia community together. This year, we’re giving it a fresh new focus — transforming it into the Lincoln Student Makers Market, an event dedicated entirely to celebrating the creativity of Lincoln students.

at Lincoln Options Elementary
A Celebration of Student Creativity
The Student Makers Market will shine the spotlight entirely on Lincoln students. We’re shifting away from adult vendors and the usual fundraising focus to create a truly student-centered celebration of creativity.
The event will feature:
- Student-run maker booths – handmade goods and crafts from our talented students
- Student art gallery – a showcase of pieces created in Lincoln art classes
- Student performances and music – playing with The Community Band!
- Interactive art & craft activities for families
- Tasty treats and warm drinks from the 5th-grade Bake Sale and the OCC Coffee Cart!
It’s a joyful afternoon designed to honor the imagination and talent of our kids and to bring the community together in a season of connection and creativity.
For Lincoln Families
This is a true community effort! We’ll need many helping hands to make the day magical — from set-up and tear-down to helping in the gym and play shed, supporting the bake sale, and welcoming families.
For Student Makers & Performers
We invite all Lincoln students to participate as makers, artists, or performers. Whether it’s handcrafted items, visual art, or live music, we want to celebrate and support your creativity.
Applications for student booths and performers open October 3rd and will remain open until November 10th (or until slots are filled).

To keep the focus on student creativity, booths will be limited to arts and crafts (no food sales), and families of participating students will be asked to help with set-up or tear-down.
