Lincoln Winter Market – 2024

Hello, Lincoln families and friends!

Preparations for this year’s Lincoln Winter Market have already begun, and it will be another great event. You won’t want to miss it!

Save the date for Saturday, November 30th, 2024 from 11 AM-4 PM

Lincoln Winter Market is a vibrant fair for local artists and makers, showcasing handmade goods created by Lincoln students, their families, and community members. This popular Olympia event is a seasonal highlight. You can shop for local artisanal goods, listen to live music, sip a warm beverage, or snack on a tasty treat and participate in family activities, all while supporting the incredible programs at Lincoln Options Elementary.

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date on details.

Community Vendors (arts, crafts, food)

If you are a local artist, craft maker or food vendor and are interested in being a part of the Lincoln Winter Market, please apply! This year, we will have a limited number of vendor slots, however all booths will be indoors.

Applications are open August 25th until October 11th (or until filled).

We need VOLUNTEERS

Supporting the Winter Market is rewarding and enjoyable no matter how you do it. Luckily, tasks are available for all levels of commitment. Opportunities to help include promoting the market, organizing and staffing the 5th-grade fundraiser, running an activity booth, setting up, tear down and staffing during the market.  This is a fundraising event for the OCC, and we would especially love some help with activities during the market. We are looking forward to hearing from you. Please sign up here:  Volunteer Sign Up.

STUDENT VENDORS and MUSICIANS

One of everyone’s favorite parts of this event is the Student Market. It is wonderful to see Lincoln students embrace the opportunity to follow their inspiration and share their talents in arts, crafts and music.

Student vendor and busker applications will be available October 1st until November 15th (or until all slots are full).  Changes this year: students have the option to select half or full day vending slots, arts and crafts only (no food). Additionally, we are asking that families whose students are participating in this market help with set-up or teardown of the event. This change is due to the low number of volunteers to cover these responsibilities.  We would like to continue the tradition of the Winter Lincoln Market and we need more support to sustain the event.

Until registration begins, talk to your student about their interest in making and selling items or showcasing their musical skills during the event.

Applications:

More About the Market

This market was started by Make Olympia in 2010 and became a school-sponsored community event operating under the guidance of the Options Community Council, our school’s governing body. It is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving, located at Lincoln in the gym, cafeteria, and play shed. Vendor fees go to Lincoln’s school programs.
