Lincoln Winter Market is a vibrant fair for local artists and makers, showcasing handmade goods created by Lincoln students, their families, and community members. This popular Olympia event is a seasonal highlight. You can shop for local artisanal goods, listen to live music, sip a warm beverage, or snack on a tasty treat and participate in family activities, all while supporting the incredible programs at Lincoln Options Elementary.
Follow us on Instagram and Facebook to stay up to date on details.
This market was started by Make Olympia in 2010 and became a school-sponsored community event operating under the guidance of the Options Community Council, our school’s governing body. It is always the Saturday after Thanksgiving, located at Lincoln in the gym, cafeteria, and play shed. Vendor fees go to Lincoln’s school programs.

We are excited to kick off our campaign to raise funds that will directly benefit our students. Your financial support allows the OCC to offer many programs and activities throughout the year for Lincoln Options students and families.

The Spanish Committee presents
Día de los Muertos
Saturday, Nov 2, 2024, 2-4pm in the Lincoln playshed
The school community is invited to our 3rd annual Día de los Muertos celebration. We invite you to contribute a photo of a loved one accompanied by an ofrenda (a special item that reminds you of them). A big part of this tradition is to bring to share a favorite food (peanut-free) that your loved one once enjoyed. The celebration offers you an opportunity to celebrate our dearly departed and share your memories as you help put together our community ofrenda. Enjoy the day with family and friends while taking part in craft activities, music, and dancing.
In anticipation for our big celebration, an ofrenda will be installed in our main school hallway. Make sure to stop to view the ofrenda during conference week.

The Clothing Sale is happening in the cafeteria 8:30-3pm from Monday through Thurs.
It is meant to be a resource to families as well as a fundraiser. All purchases are “pay what you can” and families that need a resource for children’s clothing are encouraged to come and just take what they need.
Thank you for supporting Lincoln Options!

Free coffee, tea and more Fri mornings at Lincoln Elementary. Come join the Options community for Community Coffee before and after Friday assembly.
Friday assemblies are held from 8:45-9:15 am in the gym. Families are invited to join us! Assemblies can also be joined remotely via Zoom. Assemblies are a time each week when our whole community is together. It is a time to celebrate ourselves and our learning, sing favorite songs, practice new songs, and learn to be a “theater audience.” It is a time when everyone hears messages, information and ideas that affect our whole community.
Harvest Festival is the big event this week! We will be celebrating the culmination of our garden and the beginning of our school year.
It begins with an assembly at 8:45 with music and sharing about all the work students have done in the garden and in the classroom to prepare for the day.
After the assembly, students are free to participate in any and all of our Harvest Festival activities. There is hay jumping, arts, music, games, and more.
The Harvest Festival meal is the star of our show! Classes have been harvesting and cooking delicious dishes to feed our community. We will begin serving at 10:30. Kids eat with their families. Activities continue until 11:45.
Children return to the classrooms at 11:45 for the remainder of the day. If your child is leaving early, you must sign them out in the office.
Families with kindergarten students are encouraged to attend. If you are the parent of a new student, and are not able to be at the Harvest Festival, please connect with your child’s teacher to let them know. The teacher can buddy them up with a student who will have a parent with them at the event, or for our older students, a friend who can help them navigate all the activity.
